Classified ad management for home service contractors.

A classified ad posting service for home service contractors with daily posting on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and OfferUp. Stay visible to customers searching outside the major paid platforms.

Starting at $600/month

  • 16 years of Craigslist posting experience
  • 1M+ classified ads published since 2009
  • Manual posting only, no automation
  • Month-to-month, no contracts

What’s included

Everything you need to make this channel work.

  • Daily Craigslist posting

5–15 ads posted Monday through Friday across your target cities, with category and copy rotation to maximize visibility. Phone Verified Account (PVA) infrastructure to maintain posting eligibility. Ghost recovery process when Craigslist flags ads, built up over 16 years of contractor posting experience.

  • Facebook Marketplace listings

8–12 service listings refreshed every 48–72 hours per market. Optimized for the local-services categories homeowners actually browse. Renewed before listings expire so you stay visible.

  • Nextdoor & OfferUp coverage

Nextdoor business posts and OfferUp listings on platforms your competitors often miss. Nextdoor in particular drives high-intent neighbor recommendations that close at higher rates than typical paid leads.

  • Contractor-specific ad copy

5–10 ad copy variations per service, written for contractor buyers, not generic small-business templates. Category-specific phrasing tuned to what triggers homeowner clicks. Rotated to avoid duplicate-listing flags from each platform.

  • Image rotation system

3–5 branded image templates per service, swapped weekly. Avoids the duplicate-image flags that get ads ghosted. Sized and styled to what each platform’s algorithm favors.

  • Monthly performance report

Posts published count per city and category, response rate, ghost rate (how often platforms flagged us), top-performing ad copy, and the strategy adjustments for next month. Plain English, no jargon.

Scope boundary

What’s NOT included.

We’re explicit about scope so there are no surprises. These items are outside this service. Some are covered by other services we offer, some are not.

  • Paid advertising on Google or Meta
  • Landing page builds (separate service)
  • Logo design, branding, or photography
  • Website maintenance or development
  • Automation, bots, or any AI-driven posting tools (manual posting only)
  • Guarantee of specific call volume

Honest note: Classified platforms vary heavily by city, by category, and by moderation activity. Some markets are gold mines for HVAC and plumbing; others have been overrun by spam and produce thin results. We’ll tell you upfront whether your specific market is worth the investment.

Honest fit check

Is this the right service for your business?

Good fit if…

  • Contractors in cities where Craigslist still drives meaningful traffic (most US metros)
  • Service businesses with broad consumer appeal (HVAC, plumbing, handyman, junk removal)
  • Companies looking for a low-cost-per-lead supplementary channel
  • Businesses that want diversified lead sources beyond paid Google/Meta

Probably not if…

  • High-end specialty contractors with narrow audiences
  • Businesses unwilling to handle inbound calls from price-shopper customers (Craigslist leans budget-conscious)
  • Contractors operating only in rural areas with minimal Craigslist activity

Common questions

Answers to what contractors usually ask.

Ask us anything
Is Craigslist still relevant in 2026?

For home services, yes, especially in mid-size US metros and for budget-conscious homeowner segments. It’s not as dominant as it was in 2015, but it still drives meaningful calls for HVAC, plumbing, moving, junk removal, and handyman businesses at a cost per lead nothing else matches.

Won’t my ads get flagged or deleted?

Some will. That is normal on Craigslist. We work around their flagging system with copy variations, location rotation, and category strategy. Typical client sees 60–75% of ads stay live for the full 7-day cycle.

Do you use any automation or bot posting?

No. Every ad is manually created and posted by a real person. Automation gets you ghosted (ads exist but aren’t shown to anyone) or banned. Manual posting is slower, but it’s the only way that actually works in 2026.

How many cities should I target?

Start with the cities where you actually service. If your service radius is 30 miles, post in 3–5 surrounding cities. Going wider than your actual service area wastes posts on calls you can’t fulfill.

Can I see the ads before they go live?

Yes. We send you the ad copy variations and images for approval before the first posting cycle. After launch, we send monthly samples in the report.

Will Craigslist calls be lower-quality than Google Ads calls?

Often yes, Craigslist callers tend to be more price-conscious. But the cost per call is also 3–5x lower. Net result: Craigslist is excellent for high-volume, lower-margin services (junk removal, basic plumbing repairs, moving), less ideal for premium services (luxury HVAC, custom roofing).
