01 / Build / Web design & development

Website design and development built around your business.

Help visitors understand what you do, why it matters and how to take the next step. We bring page structure, design and development together around the way your business actually works.

A website has a job to do. It may need to explain a complex service, make inquiries easier or give your team a clearer way to present its work. We start with that job, then turn your content and priorities into a usable website.

What we can include

The work behind this service.

The final deliverables are confirmed in your project scope.

  • Discovery and page planning

Agree the audience, goals, sitemap and key actions. Identify the pages and information people need before they are ready to get in touch.

  • Content structure

Organize your services, messages and calls to action. Define the content needed for each page and who will provide or approve it.

  • Website design

Develop a visual direction within your brand. Review layouts, typography, imagery and interaction before moving through the agreed pages.

  • Responsive development

Build the approved designs for desktop, tablet and phone layouts, including the navigation and page components in the agreed scope.

  • Forms and essential connections

Connect agreed inquiry forms, contact actions and supported tools. Test the route from a visitor action to the intended destination.

  • Review and handover

Check the agreed pages, links and core journeys. Prepare the launch and explain how the site is managed and what support follows.

Scope and fit

Make the right decision before work begins.

A useful starting point if…

  • Your current website no longer explains your business clearly.
  • You need a new service website or a more coherent experience across several pages.
  • You have an agreed decision-maker and can provide or approve the content needed.

What we agree separately

  • The page count, copywriting, photography and branding work are agreed individually.
  • Hosting, domains, paid software and ongoing care are scoped separately where needed.
  • Complex portals, ecommerce and custom applications need their own requirements review.

Illustrative example

A service business with a confusing website

A visitor needs to see which services are available, whether the business serves their needs and how to inquire. A clear service structure, useful detail pages and a straightforward contact route can make that journey easier. The scope is chosen around those tasks.

Example workflow or project approach. This is not a client case study or a promise of results.

Common questions

The detail before you decide.

Ask us a question →
Will you write the website content?

We agree that during scoping. You may supply the content, ask us to help structure and edit it, or include copywriting in the project. The quote makes the responsibilities clear.

Will the design match our existing brand?

Yes. We start with your existing brand assets and preferences. A website refresh can use the brand you already have; a new identity is separate work if required.

Can the site connect to our current tools?

We review the forms, CRM or other tools you want to use. The connection depends on their available integrations and access, and is included only when agreed.

How long does a website take?

The schedule depends on the pages, features, content readiness and review process. We agree milestones after reviewing the requirements rather than promising the same timeline for every site.
